Best Shopify B2B Apps in 2026, Sorted by the Gap They Fill
Amir HessabiN° 188 min read
There is no single best Shopify B2B app, because Shopify B2B already ships companies, catalogs, payment terms, quantity rules and draft-order review on every plan. The right app is the one that fills the specific gap your wholesale buyers hit: tagged wholesale pricing, a real quote and RFQ process, or net terms with rules on top. This guide sorts the apps by that gap instead of ranking them.
Most "best Shopify B2B apps" pages are written by a vendor or agency whose own app lands first. This one is written by a vendor too, so: every fact about a named app below comes from that app's own Shopify App Store listing, read on October 15, 2026. Ratings, review counts and prices move, so check the listing before you install. Our own app, Copiara, is the last entry and is labeled as ours.
What does native Shopify B2B already cover before any app?#
Start here, because many older wholesale apps predate these features reaching every plan. Per Shopify's Help Center page on B2B features (fetched October 15, 2026):
- "Shopify B2B is available on all plans."
- On Basic, Grow and Advanced, a store can assign up to 3 active catalogs across its B2B markets. On Shopify Plus, the number of catalogs is unlimited.
- Payment terms set how long a company has to pay, from Net 7 through Net 90 or due on fulfillment.
- Quantity rules set a minimum, maximum or increment for a variant.
- A store can require B2B orders to be placed as drafts per company location, so staff can review, change and negotiate before the order is confirmed.
- Deposits and partial payments are available only on Shopify Plus, and some staff permission levels may be limited below Plus.
That last draft-order point matters for quoting. Shopify does let staff negotiate a price on a draft order. What it does not have is an RFQ object or a versioned quote record that keeps the request, every round and the agreed price together. We covered the details in what draft orders cover for B2B quotes, and the catalog cap in Shopify B2B catalog limits by plan. For the full split between Shopify's features and an app's, see what native Shopify B2B covers.
A worked example: one bearing order, three gaps#
Picture a bearings and power-transmission distributor on Shopify. A maintenance buyer at a plant needs 200 of a 6205-2RS deep groove bearing, wants a better price than the contract list at that quantity, needs the plant manager to sign off above $2,000, and pays on Net 30.
Native B2B handles the company, the contract catalog, the Net 30 terms and a quantity rule that sells the bearing in tens. Three things still happen outside the store: the price request lands in an inbox, the back-and-forth on price lives in email, and nobody checks the plant's open balance before the order goes in. Each group of apps below targets one of those gaps.
Which Shopify wholesale pricing suites cover the most ground?#
These apps are strongest where a store sells wholesale and retail side by side and needs pricing, minimums and access control by customer group. All facts are from each app's listing, read October 15, 2026.
SparkLayer B2B & Wholesale (developer SparkLayer). The listing describes a sales rep portal where reps place orders and manage B2B accounts, a quoting engine, registration forms with approval, and customer-specific price lists, tiers and volume rules. Before picking one, check how much now overlaps with native companies, catalogs and quantity rules on your plan.
Which Shopify quote and RFQ apps turn a request into a negotiated order?#
This is the gap in the bearing example: a buyer asks for a price, and the answer has to come back as something both sides can see. Listings read October 15, 2026.
QuotWay: B2B Quote-Negotiation (EFOLI, LLC). A Request a Quote button on products and cart for targeted buyers, hidden prices for retail or guests, round-by-round negotiation with every counter-offer saved as a locked version, and partial acceptance into a native draft order. Plans: Lite at no charge, Starter $29, Professional $79, Enterprise $199 a month. Rated 5.0 from 1 review; launched June 29, 2026.
Quotify: Request a Quote (RFQ) (AppHive). Unlimited quote requests, a custom request form, proposals that convert to orders when accepted, and quote-from-cart. Plans: Premium $17 a month, Pro $34 a month, or Pro Lifetime $700 one time, with a 7-day trial on the monthly plans. Rated 4.9 from 105 reviews; launched March 9, 2021.
Quote Desk: AI B2B Quotes (Legitimate LLC). Line prices suggested from the buyer's own order history, a secure quote link the buyer accepts with no login, and purchase-order PDF parsing into a Shopify draft order. The listing says it works on Basic, Grow and Advanced. Plans: a no-charge tier, then $29, $49 and $79 a month, 14-day trial. No reviews yet as of October 15, 2026; launched June 15, 2026.
Uncap Quotes (Uncap). A storefront quote drawer for multi-item requests, a quote requests inbox with agent assignment, threaded negotiation on line items, and B2B companies, locations and catalog pricing. Plans: $50 a month for standard Shopify plans and $90 for Shopify Plus, 7-day trial. No reviews yet as of October 15, 2026; launched May 17, 2024.
What to compare them on: does the app keep the request, every round and the agreed price as one record, and does anything check margin before a price goes out? A form that emails you a request is a different product from a quote record.
Which apps handle net terms and credit on Shopify B2B?#
Native payment terms cover the Net 30 in the example. The gap apps fill is rules and enforcement around those terms.
TermStack: Net Terms for B2B (Varr Labs). The listing is written for Shopify Plus B2B merchants: it applies Net-7 to Net-90 terms and deposits with prioritized rules by company, tags, order value, first orders and order count, with a simulator, rollback and audit logs. Plans: no charge on development stores, Core $99, Growth $249 and Scale $499 a month, 14-day trial. Rated 5.0 from 1 review; launched March 9, 2026.
The other gap is credit: a limit per company and a check on open exposure before a new order goes in. Ask each vendor whether it checks exposure at submission. More on that in net terms at B2B checkout.
Where does Copiara fit? (ours, early access)#
Copiara is our app, so weigh this entry accordingly. It is in early access: it is not on the Shopify App Store, cannot be installed and has no customers yet.
In the bearing example, Copiara adds a quoting desk where the request, every negotiation round and the accepted quote sit on one record, with a margin floor the server enforces, and the order is then placed in Shopify with the agreed prices locked. It adds buyer approvals, so the plant manager's sign-off above a spend limit clears before the order is placed. It adds credit limits with live exposure on top of the company's Shopify payment terms, with a store-wide choice to warn or deny at submission. And it adds an AI concierge on the merchant's theme that checks the buyer's price and stock and stages an order in chat, inside that buyer's company context. See what the Copiara concierge does for its limits.
The published plans are $19, $69 and $179 a month with a 14-day trial billed through Shopify App Pricing, but nobody can install or subscribe yet.
FAQ#
Do I need Shopify Plus to sell B2B? No. Shopify's Help Center says B2B is available on all plans, with up to 3 active catalogs below Plus and unlimited catalogs on Plus.
Which Shopify B2B apps have a no-charge tier? As of October 15, 2026, the listings for SparkLayer, BSS B2B Wholesale Pricing, QuotWay and Quote Desk each show a $0 tier. What it includes is on each listing.
Does Shopify have request-a-quote natively? Not as an RFQ object. Staff can negotiate price on a draft order, but there is no versioned quote record that keeps the request and each round together.
Should I install a pricing suite and a quote app together? Only if both gaps are real. Start from what native B2B covers on your plan, name the gap your buyers hit most, and fill that one first.
