Platform · how the two fit together
Shopify ships the primitives. Copiara completes the platform.
Core Shopify B2B has been on every paid plan since April 2026: companies, payment terms, price lists, draft orders, B2B checkout. Copiara does not rebuild any of it. It adds the wholesale work Shopify has on no tier, and hands every result back through Shopify's own primitives.

One operation
Two systems, one order. The line between them is drawn once and never moved.
What Shopify ships
Your plan already covers more B2B than most stores use.
Copiara configures these rather than shadowing them, because a second copy of a company record is a reconciliation problem waiting to happen. Shopify stays the system of record for products, inventory, orders, and payment state.
01
Companies and locations
Company records, their locations, and the contacts who buy for them.
02
Payment terms
Net 7 through Net 90, vaulted cards, and ACH at B2B checkout.
03
Price lists and volume pricing
Company-scoped catalogs, volume breaks, and the price a given buyer sees.
04
Draft orders and B2B checkout
Draft orders with price locking, PO numbers, and the checkout that takes the money.
Plan tier does change some behavior. Shopify caps a store below Plus at three active catalogs, so per-company price lists at scale genuinely need Plus. Copiara says so up front rather than promising the same thing on every plan.
What Copiara completes
Four stages of a wholesale order that Shopify has no step for.
Read one order top to bottom. The pale rows are Shopify doing what Shopify does. The bright rows are the ones that fall to a person today: a phone call, a forwarded email, a spreadsheet, a credit decision made after the fact.

Where Copiara runs
Inside the admin your team knows and the theme your buyers already trust.
There is no Copiara storefront, no Copiara login for your buyers, and no separate domain to explain. Your reps work in the Shopify admin. Your buyers stay on your own site.

The money path
Copiara never touches the money.
A negotiated quote does not become a Copiara invoice. It becomes a Shopify draft order, and it settles where every other order on your store settles.
01
The quote is accepted
Negotiation closes against a margin floor Copiara enforces on the server, not in a spreadsheet.
02
Shopify takes the draft order
Copiara pushes variant-backed lines with the agreed prices locked, inheriting the company's terms and tax.
03
The buyer checks out on Shopify
Native B2B checkout, on the payment terms that company already has. Copiara is not in the payment path.
04
Payment state comes back
Shopify webhooks are the only writer of payment and shipment state in Copiara, backed by a reconciliation sweep.
A straight answer first
Tell us what your store already does natively.
We will tell you which parts of Copiara would earn their place and which parts you do not need, because half of what B2B apps sell is already sitting in your Shopify admin.
Copiara is coming to the Shopify App Store. It is not listed yet.
